Westbury Arts Centre are pleased to welcome this years successful new artists on it’s Graduate Residency scheme. Jessica Wetherly & Moonjung Hwang were chosen from applicants from across the country. Their work showed creative excellence, interesting use of materials and a desire to pursue a career in the arts. The residency runs from the 1st of July to the 30th of September 2015 and provides free live work space and an exhibition of the work created.
Jessica is a sculpture and installation artist working in a variety of mediums. Jessica aims to use the residency to explore figurative sculpture as process.
Moonjungs recent work has involved working with members of the community to create a “Fetch Machine”which is a training structure for dogs. The design was based on Mackintosh inspired architecture .
The exhibition will run from 12th September – 26th September
